Viral Carrot Ribbon Salad (Spicy, Tangy & Great for Your Skin)
This viral carrot ribbon salad is crunchy, spicy, and tangy. A skin-loving, travel-friendly side that gets better overnight.

- 5–6 large carrots peeled
- 2–3 garlic cloves crushed
- 1 small hot pepper finely chopped
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice from 1 large lemon
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Optional: sesame seeds and cilantro for garnish
Using a vegetable peeler, shave the carrots into long ribbons and place them in a large bowl. Add the chopped hot pepper. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, crushed garlic, sugar, salt, and lemon zest.
Pour the dressing over the carrots and toss well until everything is evenly coated.
Garnish with sesame seeds and cilantro, if desired.
Serve immediately or chill before serving. This salad tastes even better the next day!
