Birthday Cake Protein Shake

It’s my birthday month, and I’m celebrating with something simple that always makes me happy — a good protein shake! As a flight attendant, I’m always on the go and constantly craving something creamy, filling, and mess-free. I spent a lot of money on shakes, but when I’m home, I love making my own.

This Birthday Cake Protein Shake is my current obsession — it’s sweet, festive, and gives me that “cake without the guilt” kind of feeling. It’s super customizable depending on what you like or have on hand, but in my opinion, sprinkles are not negotiable. They just make it fun — and honestly, who doesn’t need a little confetti in their day?

Why You’ll Love Birthday Cake Protein Shake

Simple and cheerful – Because it tastes like dessert but fuels you like a meal!
Zero morning effort – Perfect when you’re rushing to catch a 6 AM flight.
Celebration in a cup – Sweet, creamy, and full of protein.

Tips for the Best Birthday Cake Protein Shake

Blend long enough – Let it go for 1-2 minutes to get that thick, milkshake-like texture.
Customize it – Toss in sprinkles for fun, a few frozen berries, or 1/2 of a frozen banana.
Serve right away – It’s best enjoyed fresh before the shake separates.

FAQs

Can I use any protein powder?

Yes! Vanilla protein powder works best for that birthday cake flavor, but you can use any kind you love — whey, plant-based, or collagen.

How can I make it thicker?

Add more ice or a frozen banana. You can also blend in a little Greek yogurt for extra creaminess.

Is it kid-friendly?

Totally! Just skip the protein powder if you prefer and make it as a fun “birthday milkshake” instead with frozen berries or a banana.

What blender do you recommend?

I have been using the “Ninja Blender” for years.
